Coaster Racer 2 - Second Game

Coaster Racer 2 is a sequence to Coaster Racer, where you get to race on several tracks situated on a volcanic island. The track is a thin one and weaves up and down the terrain. At times you will be driving while in the clouds. In some spots, the track is protected by a guard rail and it will protect you from going over. However, there are certain parts which do not have a guard rail, and if you make a mistake, you will go over and the game will fade; you will be put back on the track, but you will have lost valuable time and your opponent will be far gone. The first race is a challenge race, where you race against one racer; you have to attain the first position in order to proceed to the next race. There are several races on the island but you can only unlock them one at a time when you win the previous race. You use the arrow keys to control the vehicle, and you can also use the nitro function to give you more speed. You have to be careful with the controls when you use the nitro function so you do not go over the railing. The first racer, who goes by the name of Vicki, is a great driver and you really have to be excellent in order to beat her. The only way to get ahead of her is to use the nitro function whenever you can. The graphics in the game are excellent and you will enjoy every bit of it.
